At CARGO CONTAINER, we want you to shop with confidence. If an eligible item you purchased drops in price on our official U.S. website within 14 calendar days of your order date, you may request a refund of the eligible price difference.
This policy applies exclusively to qualifying purchases made through cargocontainerusa.com.
1. Eligibility
To qualify for a price adjustment:
- Your order must have been placed directly through our official U.S. website, cargocontainerusa.com.
- Your request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original order date.
- The lower price must apply to the exact same product, including its model, size, color, and configuration.
- The lower price must be publicly available and verifiable on our official website at the time you submit your request.
- The item must not have been returned, canceled, or fully refunded.
- The purchase and the lower price must meet the promotional eligibility requirements outlined below.
Orders placed through third-party marketplaces, including Amazon, or through other retail channels are not eligible.
2. Eligible Prices and Promotions
Price adjustments are available for qualifying price reductions that are publicly offered to all customers without additional purchase requirements.
Eligible offers include:
- Direct Price Reductions: A lower selling price displayed on an eligible product page.
- Automatic Discounts: Sitewide or product-specific discounts automatically applied at checkout without minimum spending, quantity, or bundle requirements.
- Public Discount Codes: Publicly advertised discount codes available to all customers without minimum spending, quantity, bundle, or other special eligibility requirements.
- Permanent Price Reductions: A permanent decrease in a product's regular selling price.
For qualifying automatic discounts or public discount codes, the eligible price is the discounted product price available at checkout, even if the discount is not directly reflected on the product page.
3. Promotional Exclusions
Price adjustments do not apply to offers involving additional purchase requirements or special eligibility conditions, including:
- Minimum-spend promotions, such as Spend $199, Save $30.
- Minimum-quantity promotions, such as Buy 2, Get 15% Off.
- Bundle discounts, buy-more-save-more offers, and free-gift promotions.
- Welcome discounts, loyalty rewards, referral offers, and personalized or customer-specific discount codes.
- Flash sales, clearance offers, and final-sale promotions.
- Pricing errors and offers from third-party retailers.
- Shipping charges and other non-product fees.
Purchases Made During Promotions
Items originally purchased at a promotional price are not eligible for additional price adjustments based on subsequent temporary promotional offers.
However, if the product's regular selling price is permanently reduced within the original 14-day eligibility period, a price adjustment may be requested if the new price is lower than the actual net price paid.
Purchases originally made using a discount code or other promotional discount may still qualify for an eligible price adjustment, provided the adjustment is calculated using the actual net product price paid after all applicable original-order discounts.
Discounts cannot be combined, reapplied, or carried over from the original order when calculating a price adjustment.
4. How Price Adjustments Are Calculated
Price adjustments are calculated using the following formula:
Eligible Price Adjustment = Original Net Product Price Paid − New Eligible Product Price
If the result is zero or negative, no adjustment is available.
The Original Net Product Price Paid is the actual amount paid for the eligible item after deducting all applicable product-level discounts and any order-level discounts allocated to that item, excluding shipping and sales tax.
The New Eligible Product Price is the qualifying price available for the identical item at the time of the request, including any eligible automatic discount or publicly available, no-minimum-purchase discount code.
Only discounts that qualify under this policy will be considered when determining the new eligible price.
Example
- Original product price: $129.00
- Discount applied to original purchase: $20.00
- Original net product price paid: $109.00
- New eligible product price: $99.00
- Eligible price adjustment: $10.00
Any applicable sales tax associated with an approved adjustment will also be refunded where required by law.
Multiple Price Adjustments
If an eligible item experiences additional qualifying price reductions within the original 14-day period, customers may request an additional adjustment.
The total amount of all price adjustments for an item cannot exceed the difference between its original net purchase price and the lowest eligible price during that period.
Any previously issued price adjustments will be deducted when calculating an additional refund.
Additional adjustments do not extend or restart the original 14-day eligibility period.
5. Your Adjustment Options
Once your request is approved, you may choose one of the following options:
Option 1: Refund to Your Original Payment Method
Receive the approved price difference through your original payment method, including any applicable sales tax adjustment.
Refund processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
If your order was paid through an installment or buy-now-pay-later service, such as PayPal Pay Later, Affirm, Klarna, or Shop Pay Installments, the refund will be processed through the original payment provider. The provider will determine how the refund is applied to your payment plan or account.
Option 2: CARGO Gift Card
Receive a CARGO Gift Card equal to the approved adjustment amount for use toward a future purchase on our official U.S. website.
- CARGO Gift Cards issued under this policy do not expire.
- Gift Cards are subject to our applicable Gift Card Terms and Conditions.
- Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
Your choice of adjustment method does not change the approved adjustment amount.
6. How to Request a Price Adjustment
To request a price adjustment, please email support@cargocontainerusa.com within 14 calendar days of your original order date.
Please include:
- Your order number.
- The name and product link of the item.
- A dated screenshot or screen recording showing the lower eligible price, including any qualifying discount displayed at checkout.
If you are unable to provide a screenshot or recording, please contact us within the eligibility period. Our team may be able to verify the price using our promotional records.
We aim to respond to price adjustment requests within 2 business days.
Our team will review your request, confirm eligibility, and provide the approved adjustment amount.
Eligibility is determined based on the qualifying price and the date of your original request, provided your request was submitted within the 14-day period. A promotion ending while your request is under review will not, by itself, disqualify an otherwise eligible request.
7. Additional Terms and Conditions
- Price adjustments are not automatic and must be requested within the eligible 14-day period.
- Canceled, returned, or fully refunded items are not eligible for price adjustments.
- Items that have already received a partial refund or price adjustment may be eligible only for an additional amount that does not duplicate previously refunded or credited amounts.
- If an item is subsequently returned, any previously issued price adjustment or related credit will be taken into account when determining the remaining refundable amount, to prevent duplicate reimbursement.
- CARGO CONTAINER reserves the right to deny requests involving verified fraudulent activity, unauthorized resale, or abuse of this policy, subject to applicable law.
- We may request reasonable additional information to verify the original purchase or qualifying price.
8. Policy Updates
This policy applies to eligible orders placed on or after the Effective Date stated above.
CARGO CONTAINER reserves the right to update this policy from time to time, subject to applicable law.
Any changes will not retroactively reduce rights already provided under the policy applicable to an earlier purchase or any rights guaranteed by applicable consumer protection laws.
